The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for strong gusty winds and low humidities... which
is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.
* Winds... northeast to east 15 to 30 mph... with gusts to 50 mph.
Gusts up to 60 mph through and below the favored passes and
canyons... including Freemont canyon and Sill Hill.
* Relative humidity... lowest daytime around 10 percent... with poor
* Timing... although the winds will increase early Saturday
morning... relative humidity values will not fall below 15
percent until Saturday afternoon... and gusty winds and low
humidities will continue through Sunday evening.
* Outlook... although these winds will decrease some for Sunday
night and Monday... gusty winds and low humidity values will
continue to be a threat.
