Statement as of 6:33 PM PDT on July 29, 2015

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 730 PM PDT for
eastern Los Angeles County...

At 620 PM PDT... Doppler radar continued to indicate a nearly stationary
thunderstorm over the eastern San Gabriel Mountains... including
Big Pines and Wrightwood as well as the recent pines burn area. Flash
flooding is likely with this storm. Doppler radar has estimated rainfall
rates locally in excess of 2 inches per hour with this storm.

Some locations that will could experience flash flooding include...
Wrightwood... Big Pines... Highway 2... and the recent pines burn area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life threatening flooding of
creeks... roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger Rockslides... mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain... especially in and around these areas.
