A strong surge of moisture worked through southwest Colorado early Sunday morning. This area of showers will lift through west central Colorado through the remainder of the morning. Sunday afternoon... widespread showers with locally heavy rain will favor eastern Utah and far northwest Colorado.
Tonight the next round of heavy showers will move into the Durango area and the greater San Juan mountain region.
Drier air will begin to work into southeast Utah on Monday but showers and thunderstorms will continue over portions of western Colorado through Monday evening.
Localized flooding is possible across the region through Monday evening. Never drive through running water.
