Now
Abundant moisture remains in place across east central Florida today. As daytime heating increases this morning...showers will reform along the coast. These showers will develop into lightning storms and begin to push west from the coast towards the interior by noon. Shower and storm motion will be relatively slow towards the north at 5 to 10 mph resulting in the potential for localized very heavy rainfall amounts.
