Statement as of 4:31 AM CDT on May 23, 2013
... Flood Warning remains in effect until Sunday...
The Flood Warning continues for
the Cedar River at Cedar Rapids.
* Until Sunday.
* At 4:00 am Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Friday... and continue rising to
13.9 feet Saturday morning. Fall below flood stage Sunday.
* Impact... at 14 feet... water affects a restaurant along the river
on Ellis Road NW. Water affects many residences in Cedar Bluff.
