At 930 PM CDT... Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms that just produced a gust to 53 mph as they passed
through Carterville Illinois. These storms were moving north at 50
mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph will be possible with
these storms.
