Statement as of 10:09 PM CDT on June 19, 2013 The Flood Warning continues for the Ohio River at Cairo. * Until Friday afternoon. * At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 40.3 feet. * Flood stage is 40.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will crest at 40.7 feet on Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage late Friday morning. * Impact... at 40.0 feet... minor flooding occurs affecting mainly agricultural bottomland and low lying areas.
