Statement as of 8:07 PM CDT on May 22, 2013 The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River at Tunica Riverpark * until Thursday may 23. * At 07 PM Wednesday the stage was 42.2 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 41.0 feet. * At 42.0 feet... casinos are open and unaffected. Lots nearest Tunica Cutoff Lake in Lakeview Camp are under water. Roads from the levee to Buck Island are under water. South end of Mhoon Landing park is beginning to flood.

Statement as of 11:58 AM CDT on May 22, 2013 The Flood Advisory continues for the Mississippi River at Helena * until Saturday may 25. * At 11 am Wednesday the stage was 40.7 feet. * Flood stage is 44.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will slightly fall to near 40.6 feet Wednesday may 22. * At 41.0 feet... farm buildings inside the levee southwest of Friars Point are beginning to flood.
