A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am MST
* Impacts/timing: periods of moderate to heavy snow showers will
continue the remainder of this afternoon through the overnight
hours across area passes. Snow levels will decrease to valley
bottoms by early Monday allowing for light snow accumulations
for some lower elevations. Strong gusty winds combined with snow
showers across southwest Montana will reduce visibilities making
for tough travel at times into this evening.
* Additional snow accumulations: 2 to 4 inches at lookout and Lolo
passes with 3 to 6 inches at Lost Trail Pass. 1 to 2 inches at
MacDonald... marias and Homestake passes and across the
Georgetown Lake and Seeley Lake areas.
* Locations impacted include... bad Rock Canyon... Essex... Highway
83 Bigfork to Swan Lake... Marias Pass... Polebridge... Highway
93 Sula to Lost Trail Pass... Lolo Pass... Butte... Georgetown
