... Thunderstorms were developing in the Amidon area of southwest
North Dakota and storms extended west into Montana...
At 1130 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radars showed
thunderstorms developing in the Amidon area. Also... thunderstorms
extended back to the west... about 50 miles into Montana. They were
moving east at nearly 30 mph.
If these storms continue at their current strength they would be
capable of producing hail the size of dimes and wind gusts to 40
mph. The stronger of the storms should be crossing the Montana and
North Dakota border around 1230 am MDT... between beach and Marmarth.
