At 12:54 PM...Doppler radar detected isolated showers and thunderstorms occurring across parts of Le Flore and Sebastian counties. This activity was moving off to the north northeast at around 25 mph. Through 2 PM...isolated showers and thunderstorms will remain possible for Le Flore and Sebastian counties...with the potential for additional development elsewhere across far southeast Oklahoma and into western Arkansas. Light to occasional moderate showers will be common with this activity...resulting in average hourly rainfall of up to one tenth of an inch. Any thunderstorms that occur will have the potential to produce a period of heavy rainfall and brief gusty winds. Those with outdoor activities are urged to remain alert for changing weather conditions and the potential for lightning in the area.
