* until 530 PM EDT
* at 327 PM EDT at 320 PM EDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain over western Sumter County. These showers and thunderstorms will move to the northeast across the city of Sumter. Rainfall amounts 2 to 3 inches is possible with these storms over the next couple of hours.
Minor flooding of low lying areas and creeks is expected from these storms.
