The Flood Warning continues for
the Denton creek near Justin.
* At 0800 PM Thursday the stage was 8.75 feet.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to make a rapid rise above flood
stage by Friday after midnight and crest near 13 feet by Friday
afternoon. The river should fall below flood stage by Sunday
evening.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for poor drainage areas

Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 1245 am CDT

* at 938 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Worth... Arlington... Plano... Grand Prairie... Carrollton...
Frisco... Denton... Lewisville... Flower Mound... Mansfield... Euless...
Bedford... Grapevine... Haltom City... Keller... Coppell... Hurst...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas...
including the following areas... in north central Texas...

Eastland... Ellis... Erath... Fannin... Grayson... Hamilton...
Hill... Hood... Hunt... Jack... Johnson... Kaufman... Mills...
