WEATHER UNDERGROUND LAUNCHES THE FIRST WEATHER APP ON THE ROKU DIGITAL VIDEO PLAYER PLATFORM

San Francisco, December 14, 2010 - Weather Underground, the nation’s first online weather service, is pleased to announce the availability of its weather app for Roku, maker of the best-selling and award-winning Roku streaming player.

The app supplies Roku users with the most up-to-date and localized weather information available. With a network of over 17,000 personal weather stations across the globe, Weather Underground provides real-time data, updating as often as every two and a half seconds from the closest neighborhood weather station. Users may also view current weather conditions from live web cams across the world.

In addition, the app contains geo-locating capabilities and provides 5-day forecasts, animated radar and satellite, and weather warnings.
