A dramatic change in weather conditions in past few hours. Bright sun, a slight draft from SW, temp already 9C, anticipate rise into high double digits later on. Similar conditions in the offing for the weekend.

A boat or two hauling traps in the harbour, most of the fleet will be at it today, yesterday not a day to be offshore due to high winds and rain.

Emily off on the last boat this evening headed for Quispam, no idea what the must do is this weekend.

Mornin CHUNKS, seems you folks have a busy few days to get behind ya. How is Cody doing by this time? His school year must be in the last moments for this time around. Emily is same only MacPHERSON instead of McPHERSON, that would be great if she does come together with Sarah, during this process. Emily getting excited about the new adventure, with some hint of concern about the unknown. Donna has her convinced to participate in the prepatory week being offered in July or August, now just attempting to get through the IT maze to have her signed up. Rob working with local fish buyer for the summer, mostly in the rockweed harvest trucking part of the business. A strong back and a weak mind the primary requirements in the job description. Morning on Cranberry Isle, suspect you are getting offshore this morning. No evidence of swell on the Ross Island shore, near ideal conditions to be hauling traps. Your price exact what is being offered locally, the percentage of 'Jumbos` in some areas. The buyers are attempting to implement a size limit same as on your side of the line. Not a popular move so far some of the catch is 40% over the top measurement that would be allowed. There is a quite a swing in the price for sure, and limited market for them. Processors not geared up to handle the larger animal is the reationale I am given. Fresh bait an issue for sure, the local quota soon to be captured for this month, then Halifax will be the only area open till June. Dear Rob: Sorry about the name misspelling! It is hard to tell who is good 'scot' or good 'irish' HaHa Anyway - will tell Sarah and hopefully they will find each other. That would be so great. As time gets closer you can remind me of what date Emily going up and I will text Sarah to look out for her. Today off to town for last minute 'stuff' to be done for both the graduation, mother's day, and the trip to PERU. I need a secretary. Hubby working a double back so he will be absolutely no help - not sure if he would be even if at home. Likely he would just keep a low profile and miss being stressed screamed at. HaHa again.
