Rain, easterly @30-35KPH, appears to be coming on as the sun gets up. Overnight had a gust of 50KPH on my guage, but that will soon be surpassed by the looks of thimgs. I have been told that had the higher readings you can add 10KPH to the speed when offshore away from the influence of the land.

Opening Day stood down until 0700 tomorrow, gale warning, at this time to be over late afternoon, with signifigant wind into tomorrow, but diminishing all the while. Ivans' ashes will remian ashore for one more day, he will be released on the final trip of the day at Western Ledge, as he insisted. No indication of price or demand as yet, always an unknown till the catch starts coming ashore.

Trial continues today, and expect to be in the hands of the jury by weeks end. Lots of support for the FIVE within the community. Nothing has been revealed in the trial to diminish or question the support.

Donna and buddy starting to watch weather as the annual boost to the financial well being of box stores to commence on Sunday.
