Partial overcast, calm, harbour millpond like,5Ctemp with that being the high forecast for today. Rather unsettled weather coming next few days, but rain instead of snow with good temps for this time of year.

Have most of the outside decorations hanging off trees, lawn and house. Plugged them in, and they remained on for the evening without blowing a breaker. Will see what happens with abit of moisture, and wind to test my efforts.

This will be the final day off for the children as the run towards Xmas break gets underway. A Xmas shopping trip thrown in will shorten the wait for the holidays.

Looking to be a good weather week, for the most part, to allow the fellows to get more hauling days completed. The catch continues to hold up, and the quality has been very good, very few soft shells. SW Nova sets this week, and the majority of the lobsters going on the market will come from that area.

Great day down here on the south shore of NS for 'dumping day'...warm and calm.Been listening to the boats on the VHF and all is going along just fine.Hopefully the catch will be good. I'm glad to be where I am after checking the national forecast/conditions.....pretty wintery west of Ont. Gee..I was just getting ready to go on a call and I had to come back and revise my post.It's currently 14C on the thermometer on my back deck @ 1:45PM.It must be close to or breaking records today! Hello nsphotog and grandmanan The maritimes are definatly getting better weather than here on the prairies. We have about 10 cm of snow on the ground and the forecast says another 15 to 10 by this time tomorrow. The winds are predicted to be nw 40 gusting to 60 km/h. Good to hear that the traps went in the water on such a good weather day. There is alot of boats on the water I believe around 1400 licenses in play. It seems there has been a trajedy with men and boats lost these past few years, due to the weather conditions. The weather has been dead calm here all day, totally uncharastic for this time of year.
