Drizzle, temp 5C, SE @ 10-15kph. Looking for same type of weather all day. Wind to increase over next couple of days. However the fellas should get a couple of days in before the next good blow, Friday & Saturday.

Fishng down to a routine now, the initial flurry is complete. Catch holding up well, and noticed traps being hauled infront of the house before daylight. Never any traps up in here in the fall, always the tail end of the spring season.

Will have to wait and see what the catch is like in SW Nova to get an idea of what the impact will be on the marketplace, the supply just become a lot more in the buyers favour.

Decorations staying on and in place so far, have some more to finish up this week. The additional will put a strain on my electrical capacity for sure.

Temps about the same here...no drizzle yet but very damp. I haven't heard how the catch has been....lots of chatter on the VHF but no real mention of the catch by any of the boats.This may be the last half decent day to haul until Sunday with the approaching storm.Apparently it was a bit 'sloppy' on the ocean yesterday and may be even worse today with the SE wind.Supposed to blow hard on Sat so they may spend Sunday trying to locate their strings. Afternoon Al, word here is that the catch in your area has been very good, any amount of them to be exact. A large catch almost certainly have a downward influence on the price. Weather here is deteorating as the day goes along, and similar forecast in this area. Lots of it, and not settling in any quarter going south to north and back again. Evening Bugs, it is not difficult to believe the 'essence' of good lobster bait come through the television. Bait is unique, and every tank has its' own aroma. There are as many thoughts on good bait as there are lobster fisherman. Additives such as molasses have been tried to give the fisherman an edge.
