Sure this was just going to be a photo blog of my latest trip to Lake Lewisville, but then the last two comments from the Star Trek blog got me thinking it would be nice to continue the theme.

Star Trek is a story of adventure and possibilities. It shows how imagination can take us places. It can open doors to a better reality. Imagination makes day to day existence brighter. It is something that can flower into beauty.

So that's the lofty side of imagination. At a more pedestrian level, it's regular people entertaining each other with stories, homemade crafts, new recipes, doodles, puns. Imagination is the seasoning at the banquet of life.

So tell a joke, post a photo-shopped picture or your original art. Post a recipe you made up. Heck, use your imagination and post whatever makes you smile.

I will of course use this as an opportunity to post gratuitous pictures of my corgi ;)

Calpoppy, you are lucky to have a friend with worms...okay that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean. That would be great for the garden.

Hi WxWyz, I'm just hoping to keep my warp core from dropping out when I need it most.

Plapman, It's getting cold enough to chase the geese out now. I'll be watching for them and keeping the feeders full for little guys coming from Canada to Texas for the winter.

Replacing lawn with rock or mulch, planted with some shrub robes might not be a bad idea. It could be quite attractive as well as requiring less water and TLC.

As long as you remember to set aside a special little corner for your garden pixies.
