Voice to Text--- .Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see that early yesterday morning most of the Sea cleared and the rest of the day the Sea was pretty much clear of any clouds. There was a cell that developed around San Franciscito bay around midnight that was very short lived. There were a couple more small cells develop in the mountains in south of Loreto but that was pretty much if for thunderbumpers. Looking over to Sonora in the 24 hour loop it looks like it there was some cell buildup along the Sonoran coast late yesterday afternoon however none extended into the Sea yesterday or last night. Looking now to southern Sonora to around Las Mochas where I can see a good size cell developed around midnight and is now on the wane. Further south to the Puerto Vallarta area there has been several large cells develop in that area and currently there are several between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. The rest of the Mexican Riviera the majority of the cell development was off shore and I can see numerous squalls along the coast all the way south to Central America. Looking now in our Tropical Kitchen where that wanna-be is still pretty much stationary SW of Acapulco this morning. There are considerable showers and thunderbumper in a rather elongated area there. Then we have Ileana which has been plutoed to a tropical storm and she has continued to follow her forecast track. She is due west of the cape out around 120 this morning. If she continues to follow her forecast track she will veer more to the west starting today however moisture from Ileana will continue to move north into northern Baja and southern California during the Labor Day weekend. That’s what is going on in our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where it has been a rather boring week weather-wise. The first day of September is looking like the last week in August. Seattle has been going through an unusual dry spell. The last rain they had was .04 inches on July 22. No rain at all in August. The rest of the west coast has been seasonally cool along the coast and just below seasonal norms inland. Southern California will have a slight chance of showers and thunderbumper will persist over the deserts and mountains through Monday. Moisture remnants of Ileana will arrive on Sunday bringing partly cloudy skies into midweek. Looking now over to the southwest where I can see a very light moisture plume from Ileana crossing the state. There remains a slight chance of some showers and thunderbumper mostly in the lower deserts over the Labor Day weekend. Temperatures will continue to be around 100 in the Tucson area. That’s what is going on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence it looks like San Filipe will see brisk NW winds today and moderate NE on Labor Day. The rest of the northern Sea moderate winds for the 3-day forecast period. They will however come from different directions over the next three days. For example Gonzaga bay today ENE, Tomorrow WSW and Sunday ESE. In general the next two days the Sea will see moderate winds. Sunday, Labor Day the wind speeds will be elevated to around 20 knots from around San Franciscito bay south to the cape. If you would like a detail of the 3-day forecast period for your location just ask at the end of this summary. In the last satellite image I looked at this morning it showed high whispys from tropical storm Ileana drifting NE over mostly the central Sea. Temperatures today will be in the low to mid 90s.
