Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 52 and it feels like 52. Highs will continue to range between 86 and 97 with lows between 60 and 71. There is a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms next Wednesday. A few storms could be strong to severe with large hail and gusty winds being the main threats. Secondary threats will be heavy rain and flash flooding. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 54 and it feels like 54. Todays high is 85 with a low of 60. Thursdays high is 91.
Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet. Alberto has dissipated. In the Eastern Pacific, Tropical Storm Bud is having difficult time to intensify. Winds are at 40mph with a pressure of 1004mbars. Movement is Northwest at 10mph. At this time, Bud is not expected to become a hurricane. Bud is still moving toward Mexico.
