Low chance of storms today, Atlantic/Eastern Pacific quiet |

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 67 and it feels like 67. Highs will continue to range between 87 and 93 with lows between 62 and 69. There is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms today. A few storms could be strong to severe with hail and gusty winds, but I would put these storms at a low chance of occurring due to last nights storms. Yes, there is a complex of storms just to the West of us, but all that seems to be headed Southward toward Jackson, MS. Speaking of last night's widespread, complex of storms, we had a lot of wind last night with it. My power was out for a long time due to a lot of trees being blown down. There was no damage around my house and everything was okay. As that line of storms came in, I would guess we had winds to near 70mph. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 67 and it feels like 67. Todays high is 86 and a low of 63 with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. Wednesdays high is 88.
Now, for your quick tropical update. In the Atlantic, all remains quiet. In the Eastern Pacific, all is quiet. The low pressure area that we were watching for development has fizzled out.
Hope yall are having a great Tuesday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning. Continue to pray for the tornado victims and those affected by damaging weather events.
