NEAR RECORD HIGHS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY...WITH ACTUAL AIR TEMPERATURES LIKELY EXCEEDING 95 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON. Highs will be in the 90s during this period. Thursday should be the warmest of the three days with highs between 95 and 100 degrees. As a result, an Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for Thursday for Hennepin and Ramsey counties due to the excessive heat expected. This includes Minneapolis and St.Paul.
