	winter rollercoaster

For the most part winter has been above norma,but we have had cold fronts some stronger than others.This weekend will feature a very strong cold front.The timing is uncertain,as there may be a low forming along the mid-atlantic coast,and depending on how strong this gets and how quickly it moves past us and how close it gets will determine when the artic air gets in here.It doesn't look like it will have a major impact on our weather except for Conn. Ri, and SE Mass.,but even there it shouldn't be a major impact.Once this low passes,then the door is open for artic air to come rushing in and will probably be the coldest air of the season,but it won't last long as most cold snaps this winter.Sunday and Monday will be the coldest days and by Tuesday we will be back up to near 40 again.

Hi NEwxguy, sorry about the Pats, but I have to admit I am a Giant fan--being from Sw CT. I think East of New Haven you start to move into Patriots Country. Kind of like, geographically speaking, the Yanks and Sox.. On to weather, I did hear that the coldest air of the season was coming in this weekend, but not "record breaking cold". Hey,LT,congrats to your team,they seem to be able to pull it out in the last minutes of our game,really getting to be a bad habit from our perspective,but it was an exciting game to watch. Well,some forecasters we're talking record breaking,but now they've kept the coldest air in northern new england,will still be bitter cold,but just a very quick shot.Pretty much whats been happening all winter.Above normal with quick artic shots.
