	Leaving LakeWorthFinn's for a road trip with redagainPatti

Hi WUBAs! I arrived at Finn's house on Saturday, safe and sound and had a great trip from Cayman Brac to SEFL! I didn't mind sleeping for a few days after all the jungle chopping and caving with crab & bride :) The best of it was seeing the famous CAVES! Man, them guys sure are prepared for hurricanes. I ate and drank so much at Crab's that I gained a few pounds, hope to loose them here in Lake Worth.

Crab gently tucked me in a comfortable box for the journey and wrote "cardboard cutout" in the customs declaration. Crab's bride sang a lullaby and they both shed a few tears when they sent me off. Thanks guys, I had a blast and my tan looks great!

Just one complaint: I heard someone at the Cayman post office call my wonderful hosts "wackamoles"... HOW DARE THEY!

So here I am, surrounded by three dogs, while Finn and hubby are working. I'm lying on the sofa watching TV, away from the needle sharp fangs of a small devil puppy dog names Lucy but I've made good friends with the other two dogs, Max & Sophie. Sophie even licked my hand to welcome me. Finn made me a delicious smooothie from freeze dried strawberries to celebrate my arrival, but I woulda preferred an ice cold Vodka, but they said it might upset my stomach after being swayed around and upside down during the trip here... They know nothing about me - yet... (evil grin)

At night time I enjoy the thunder storms sweeping through the area and listen to the sounds of ibis, blue herons, parrots and frogs. Goodness, there are frogs EVERYWHERE - but I'm glad they don't hang upside down and fly like bats!

Finn's laptop is being repaired, because she spewed Coke on the keyboard when she burst into laughter reading some comment Crab had written.

Pics will come soon, but I'm reading, watching TV, and doing some QiGong with Finn to strech my legs and keep fit. I need to loose them extra pounds!

I'm off to Finland with Finn in a few weeks. Can't wait to go to the sauna and take a dip in the 4th deepest lake there. I can't swim, but I float pretty well!

Beth,, new envelope... casualties of post office wars. Yes Sandi, I put on a LOT of weight at crab's, he's a really good cook and I just couldn't resist!!! Finn on the other hand never eats, but that's great for me now :) Ogal, I'm in heaven, just playing with the doggies and chilling by the pool. Finn's lappie is kaput, so no pic, but when it gets fixed she'll post some. Gotta tell you the story of my arrival: Finn's mailman Dennis has delivered all kindsa stuff to Finn's house for years, some deliveries have been quite valuable (like me!) and Dennis has been taking care they arrive well. So there I was, in a big box under his arm and when he knocked on Finn's door. I know - from previous postal experiences - that Dennis had a smile on his face when he handed me over to Finn. Mailmen are really nice people, always smiling when I'm being handled LOL! So Dennis was grinning abd said: "Good afternoon Miss Lissu, you got a huge package from the Cayman Islands. The customs declaration says "cardboard cutout", but we both know that's not true..." I heard the thumps when Finn started jumping with joy and heard her say: "Well... hmmmmmmmm... You see, I have this friend on Cayman Island, and..." "Hush," Dennis interrupted her. "I won't ask and my lips are sealed, but could you just save me a few greenbacks when you'll print them out from the... errr... cardboard cutout." Finn tried to explain it was really ME in that sealed box, but Dennis just winked his eye and insisted he wasn't blackmailing Finn, only wanted a share from the new money that was gonna be printed at Finn's house.... Obug, we loved having you here. You'll be happy to know that the 2550-foot trail to the bluff is only 50 feet short of completion. We packed four two-gallon containers of water and stashed them in the rock holes for emergencies. LOVE the story of Dennis the mailman! I think he must be a brother from another mother. Obug, don't forget the #50 sunscreen. I know you didn't like the oiliness of it, but you have to admit that you did get good color here without burning. Oh, by the way, Miss Meredith says hi. My dear Crab, I so miss your cooking and the TLC of da bride! Good job on the trail clearing, I sure am glad Finn doesn'd make me work like you did... csheeesh! Give Miss Meredith a big hug from me. Don't worry about the sunscreen, no sun here, just rain. And when the sun comes out I sit on a nice little swing on Finn's covered lanai. She still doesn't have her lappie, so no pics, but hopefully soon I can download them for all to see. Having a ball here, but my time with you is unforgettable. Especially the bats! OtherBug; Maybe you'll have to meet Dennis the Mailman (and have your photo taken with him???) so he'll believe Finn! I'm sure you're having fun with Finn and Mr. Finn and all the puppy-dogs! LOL.... I know I checked over here after OB left Da Brac to see if she'd arrived yet. Time slipped up on me (it does that a lot now...) and I didn't get back until today. glad that OB arrived safely. 3D Bug needs to lose some weight, too, but I can't think of any more organs I could have removed. I think I pretty much need all the ones I have left. Huh? Whassat you say? Diet? You know that is Die with a t on the end, don't you? And exercise? (shudder...) No Karen, The list has been travelling with OBug all these years and her hosts have filled in their names and the locations where OBug was with them. This "passport" of hers has 4 pages and only one is full! I'll add my name and places we go to, then send her off to new adventures at the end of August when we return from Finland. Finn & her hubby will be out of town for a week, but their daughter will be here taking care of me and the three doggies. That red haired little puppy Lucy is a beast! Gotta keep my feet up all the time, she's teething and my legs seem to fascinate her. I try to play tug of wars with her, but she is more interested in my limbs than her rags. "Rainbow" is definately your color :) We're in storm-prep mode here, so probably won't be posting much....... we've been in storm-prep mode since before Obug came here, and thanks to her help, we can get to one of two caves very quickly, as well as easily acess the fruit trees. yalls take care! {{{crab}}} OBug is very proud of her jungle-clearing work and misses you terribly. She hopes you won't need the caves, but it's great you made a shortcut to one. She doesn't wanna lie down in my suitcase, says she wants cocktails next to her so she can have a few while we're crossing the Atlantic. Methinks you spoiled her rotten... lol! Oh, man....... OB is really kicking back and relaxing after her trip to Da Brac. I'm sure she didn't mind helping Crab and Da Bride with bushwhacking and chores but it's time to recharge! Has OB checked out your iguanas? Or do they no longer hang out at your place. I remember when you moved in. You had a couple of good sized ones out there. Keep OB's legs away from Miss Lucy. Bug, the iguanas were picked up years ago and we haven't see any since. And Miss Lucy has left OBug's feet in peace. Unfortunately our trip to Finland was cancelled :( But Obug has already been invited on a new adventure: She's going on a road trip with redagainPatti, I'm sending her off next week Monday or Tuesday, the trip begins September 1st and needless to say OBug is thrilled! I did give her some private meditation classes to make up for the loss of the meditation retreat and she promised to continue the practice...
