Here in Malaga today it's feeling a little humid. We have what is called "levanter" which is an Easterly wind which makes the whole area quite overcast and humid.
In fact, this coast (Costa del Sol) was originally called "Costa del levante" because of how regularly this type of wind hits the coast. The name was changed in the seventies as the local government thought that having Sol in the name would attract more people to the coast. They were probably right although we still get the levanter winds quite often.
Today has been a glorious day in Malaga. It's been sunny, warm and very clear, with just a little breeze.It truly has felt like the first day of spring after some very cold, damp and windy weather which we've been getting for the past few weeks.There have been quite a few people on the beach today too, and not just tourists. Even the Spanish have been venturing down to the beach when normally they would wait until the much hotter summer weather.So today is possibl...
