A little break in the weather across Japan today following yesterdays soaker that dropped nearly 200mm in central Japan. Although this brief break will end through Friday as a small disturbance pushes across much of northern Japan. Even Tokyo some light showers in the evening are possible before things clear up through the weekend with sunny skies across most of Japan over the holiday weekend here. The Western Pacific has some of the Most Destructive Storms in the World, this video breaks down the Top five most intense typhoons according to pressure in recent history.

Indonesia has been practicing the act of cloud seeding for several years now, there goal to increase rainfall in drought stricken areas and fight forest fires across Sumatra and Borneo.
