Severe Thunderstorms Over Mid Atlantic and Northeast Today
The SPC has outlooked much of the Mid-Atlantic, Eastern Ohio River Valley for a moderate risk of severe storms, mainly with a damaging wind threat. However, hail, and some isolated tornadoes are possible. People from Louisville to Indy eastwards to Boston and Baltimore need to be on alert. New York City, Philly, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland under the gun as well. Damaging winds near 70mph are likely to occur today, esp. with the squall line forming along the cold front. Keep up to date on latest weather conditions and take preparations now to be ready for any storms.
