 With the beginning of deer hunting season here in Michigan comes the broken stillness of early morning with distant gun shots. Yesterday was opening day and although the weather was gorgeous, it was not what one would consider ideal for deer hunting. My husband doesn't usually go out until we get some snow and I'm not sure how soon that will happen although we have two cold fronts pushing down on us in the next week. Right now (8 AM), our temp is 38.8F with the humidity at 45%. The barometer is 29.77 and steady. Winds are from the SSW at 8 mph and skies are cloudy. We received no precip in the past 24 hrs. Our great autumn weather continues with an abundance of sunny days, a rarity for November in Michigan. Even our temps have been above normal for most of the month and rain has been sparse. Mother Nature is easing us into winter which is greatly appreciated by this blogger. OUR FORECAST: Today...Mostly cloudy during the morning. Partly sunny during the afternoon. Highs 41 to 45. West winds 10 to 20 mph. Tonight...Partly cloudy. A chance of flurries overnight. Lows 23 to 27. West winds 5 to 15 mph...Turning to southwest. Thursday...Partly sunny. A chance of flurries. Highs 34 to 38. West winds 10 to 20 mph. Gusts to 30 mph. Thursday Night...Mostly clear early...Then becoming partly cloudy. Lows 23 to 27. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph...Turning to south. Friday...Partly sunny during the morning. Mostly sunny during the afternoon. Breezy. Highs 44 to 48. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Friday Night...Partly cloudy. Lows 33 to 37.
