So I needed to update my blog a bit!
We have been in such a drought over the last few months, the lack of rain it pitiful! I seriously forgot what the sound of a lawnmower sounds like. But anyways, a few days ago we got our first real rainfall over the summer. It was refreshing :) The sound and smell of fresh rain, was pleasant. With that storm, came strong winds and some wind damage. And some beautiful lightning! The grass is still dead and brown, but if we get a few more rain showers, I can mow my lawn once again. The sad part is, I do not like to mow my yard. But right now, I am actually looking forward to doing it, LOL
