How to cope with a climate that is not stationary is a major challenge for agriculture (and engineering). Deep within our planning for the future is the assumption that weather will remain the same – it will be like our father’s and mother’s weather. This is no longer the case.

Northeast Weather Analyst
The remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea will continue to shift northeast along the Atlantic coast. Heavy rainfall will spread across the Northeast focusing in on a narrow axis along I-95 to the coast. Rainfall amounts in this region may approach a max of 6" in some select area. Minor gale force winds are also possible along the immediate coastline. Little to no storm surge threat is likely for the region along with little to no severe weather due to relatively stable air.

Meteorologist
Here at the FreshAJ blog, I’m constantly looking to create new, effective ways to help students, graduates, and career professionals get juicy insights into the weather industry.Recently, I’ve received quite a few emails from meteorology students and young professionals asking for feedback on their weather resumes in order to stand out and get an employer’s attention. And I noticed that many of the resumes needed considerable improvement. Even at the student conference at the AMS, the recruiters expressed frustration on many poorly written resumes. So, it got me thinking…wouldn’t it be nice if a weather expert(s) reviewed a resume before it was actually sent it to an employer?
