	California Here We Come!

Hi all! So, less than two weeks until our California Trip!
And of course I'm California Dreamin!
For me, I pretty much have to 'endure' the meetings and conference and biz...for a few days, and THEN--
THEN--
Dream Trippin Cali!

Plan is to take a fast car up to Sequoia National Park after business meetings in Anaheim. (I don't want to go to Disney. I want to see the Sequoias :)
We'll stay in a rustic lodge in the park...and visit the Giant Sequoia Monument area.

Can I just fall over here! What an amazing photo! Just can't believe this will be a dream for me come true cause this girl from the Mid-west just didn't get too many places quite yet. If just to touch the bark and feel that earthy root. Wow.

Then after the Sequoia NP, we trickle over heading ever toward the water (you know me!) Westward, to Cambria by the sea :)
oh-- in between-- Hubby has a few vineyard stops :) well planned.
We slide down the pacific coast, along the highway 1 and 101? I guess in the brief time we have, we will see so much along the way. Just in time to make it back to LA to dance into the wee hours before taking back off to reality.

Simply-- Carpe Diem Cali! (We don't have many days, but we will take them to the limit!)

Watches and warnings all south. Hmmm. Ok here's a really quick slide show which needs editing. And, it is not all the pics yet. Turn on your speakers and play the two tunes below while you watch the show. You can stop the slides with the arrows when you hover over. I haven't picked the photos for WU yet because there are too many to choose from. Two of the best mountain pics aren't in here yet. Oh well, here goes... I had a little visit in my blog from my favourite little troll. Just when you think its safe to go into the waters a shark appears. Speaking of sharks,we have really had a huge amount of Great White shark sightings along the new england coast this year.In fact one person was attacked.They attribute this to the explosion of the seal population up this way. Arrggggh! Seems like you have it under control over there! Sharks? We saw some Dolphins in the Pacific. But apparently the area we were in is called the 'triangle?' or something because of all the great whites? Some people don't like to surf where we were, but there were still brave people out there.
