06:20, 75F, misty. waning gibbous moon over the cabbage palms to the west of the house. roosters up. dixie at the back door.
08:40 medium tide going out at CK. spoonbill with egrets on spartina bank. low 80's, partly cloudy, SW wind, 8 knts. light chop at sand spit. church was good. 10:30, low tide at #4 bridge. spoonbills swishing on a mud bank. heading to fowlers bluff for lunch. rain from lower suwannee wildlife refuge loop, south end, to fowlers, intense in some areas. 12:00 suwannee river lovely in the rain. it's still high and flowing swiftly. 14:10, 82F, overcast at the farm but dry. thunder to the SW. got 3 eggs. first it sprinkled. then it drizzled (0.10") until everything was wet. nap time. 20:30, 77F, overcast. no stars. slight breeze from the south.
