In Massachusetts... eastern Franklin MA... eastern Hampden MA... eastern Hampshire MA... northern Middlesex MA... northern Worcester MA... southern Worcester MA... western Franklin MA... western Hampden MA and western Hampshire MA. In southern New Hampshire... Cheshire NH and western and central Hillsborough NH.
* Through Friday morning
* persistent moderate to heavy rainfall is expected later tonight into Friday morning. Some areas with the watch have already seen significant rainfall earlier Thursday. Additional rainfall overnight... particularly within stronger thunderstorms... could result in flash flooding.
* The main concern will be for urban areas and smaller tributaries... streams and creeks.
