... Cold temperatures this morning...
... Wintry mix possible Sunday...
Thanks to clearing skies... and new snow cover across much of the
area... cold temperatures can be expected this morning.
Temperatures in the single digits and teens will combine with
winds to produce wind chills around 0 this morning.
On Sunday another weather system could bring a wintry mix of
precipitation to the area. Light snow could mix with light
freezing drizzle across central Indiana Sunday into Sunday
evening. With the ground already below freezing... this could
result in some light ice accumulations. Untreated roads and
surfaces could become slick.
There remains some uncertainty on how much precipitation will
develop on Sunday as well as precipitation type... so stay tuned
for later updates in the forecast.
