One located across the eastern Dakotas moving towards western Minnesota. Another located over parts of central and eastern Minnesota moving towards northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. The leading edge storms in the Dakotas will move into western Minnesota near Pipestone...Ivanhoe...Canby...Madison and Ortonville between 200 am and 300 am. Central and eastern Minnesota storms will move northeast away from Alexandria...Long Prairie...and St cloud...through Brainerd...Lake Mille Lacs...Onamia and Hinckley towards Duluth by 400 am. Another line of storms developing across central Minnesota from Glenwood to Willmar and New Ulm will move to the Twin City Metro area between 230 am and 430 am this morning. So far this morning storms over central Minnesota near I-94...from Melrose to Alexandria and north to Long Prairie have estimated rain fall rates showing a widespread quarter inch...with heavy down pours of 1 to 2 inches in some locations.
