A low pressure system will move across the area Monday and bring a mixture of rain and snow early in the morning and then snow for the remainder of the day and evening. Several inches of snow are likely. Gusty west winds are expected in the afternoon and evening which may produce blowing and drifting snow. Roads and sidewalks will become slippery by midday.
