An additional one quarter to three quarters of an inch of rainfall is possible across central North Dakota tonight through Tuesday. Lesser amounts of up to one quarter inch are expected in western North Dakota. Soils continue to saturate across the entire area and the threat of overland flooding... including County and township roads in low lying areas and locations of poor drainage continues.
Flood warnings are in effect for these areas...
In the Souris river basin...
For the Souris river near Towner... minor flooding is forecast by late Tuesday night or early Wednesday.
For the Souris river near Bantry... minor flooding is occurring.
For the Souris river near Westhope... moderate flooding through the week.
In the James River basin...
For the Pipestem creek near Pingree... minor flooding is expected by Tuesday afternoon.
