I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook
and reared in the greater Portland area.
After working in the Bay Area in the
semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in
1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled
in the Williams area.
Photography interests started early on with a
Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given
to me by my father, a semi-professional photo-
grapher. After many years of film cameras, the
advent of digital photography has expanded my
interest in the hobby. My two favorite cameras
are the Nikon Coolpix P500 and the Panasonic
Lumix DMC-FZ35.
The Pacifica Gardens property has become the
preferred subject of my photography because
of its natural beauty. I have captured all
four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m
pleased to be able to share some of those
photos with my WU friends.

Actually, that's not fog. A vehicle had just
driven down the lane and the dust is what's
causing the rays to be accentuated. Be that
as it may, it certainly worked for the shot.
A big THANK YOU to the WU staff for the honor.
I do appreciate everyone's comments.
LOL!...Susan. Must be the only good use for it!
Thank you.
Thank you for looking and writing!
What a beautiful and peaceful mood !
CONGRATULATIONS, Julia !!!
Thank you, WU Admin, for the honor.
Since there is a distinct lack of fog
during this time, I try to make the most
of the dust...Lord knows we have plenty
of it.
