Taken from a shady location along the trail near the camp grounds. The ducks appear to be fed by campers as when they saw me they came a swimming.

Thanks for the kind comments. It was a beautiful day there. The trail loops around the lake is quite easy with lots of view points. For day use you can park right next to the dam, which we used as are starting point. The Barlow Road which was one of the routes of the Oregon Trail had a log road going across the wetlands near the lake. The damming of Muddy Creek to improve the lake for recreation has since flooded that section. A special thanks to the Approvers for granting this photo to the AC list!
