"Someone else posted a couple of pictures on here that they took in Oakland (different angle?). In one of the pictures you can see the faint outline of a second ring. I was pointing the camera straight up at the sun and really couldn't see what I was doing so I was pleased the picture came out so well."

"I think the robins had a problem with the
owner of the house - she said she had the
broom after them to keep them from attacking
another neighbor that was repairing her
floodlight which is right by the nesting
gutter. So am guessing robins are feeling
a bit unsure. Even though they flew at me,
they did not harm me - just felt little
breeze as they flew at me not on me."
