Living in upstate SC is quite a delight. I've lived here all my life except for about 18 months. I have the privilege of rearing my 14 year old grandniece. I love teaching her all the things I taught my two sons. Painting with oils and watercolors are a couple of hobbies I have as well as photography. I love my animals and would love living the bucolic life if I could but this is about as close here as I will ever come. I so enjoy seeing all the photos from all around this wonderful world of ours. Keep posting so this little old southern grandmother can appreciate all God Created.

I like the contrast in colors between the sand, sea, foam, and especially the layering of clouds moving in. It has a chilly, ominous feel to it (almost wintery looking).
Don't take any of the scores personally, some people have a little clique of "fans" who give them high ratings even when the pictures don't deserve it, and other pictures get lower scores for no apparent reason. I would like to see WU allow comments without a number rating score.
