Cloud features indicating a region of outflow in a severe thunderstorm south of Penwell, Texas, witnessed by the University of Michigan VORTEX 2 team at about 3:50 PM CDT on May 14, 2010
Yep, that's a nasty-lookin' cloud right there. Tornados fascinate me. I was 10 yrs. old and we lived in Ohio when the April '74 tornados clobbered Xenia. I will never forget the skies and the sirens and the thick tension and humidity of that day. I really admire the storm chasers out there. Nice capture for the team.
