A photograph is a message of life distilled and preserved for eternity. It conveys a statement, an impression, or an emotion. I am the author trying to convey this message in a way no words can, in a clear, concise, and effective way.
My camera helps me capture moments of beauty, light, human expression, emotion, and the greatest of all...GOD's Masterpiece. I find myself looking at things in an entirely different way by trying to capture a moment and a feeling. To date I continue to be in awe of the vibrant life and beauty that surrounds us, thanks to MY GOD. There is so much to see, capture, and share. My goal is to take the viewer to a place they may never have the opportunity to visit and to share this wonderful world in which we live in. We turn to nature to nurture our faith. Many of us have had our most meaningful spiritual experiences in relationship to the environment. Beauty provokes us to transcend our concerns, shortcomings and conflicts. We have heard the voice of God in the woods and waterways, in bird songs or the remarkable delicacy of a flower. Nature reveals God's glory...(Psalm 19). I believe that photography is a form of communication. If it says something worthwhile to the viewers, then it's a success.
