Well... actually just after midnight. The moon was so low I couldn't see it from the house. I walked out to the end of the driveway for these shots. Good thing all the neighbors were asleep...

Update: Congratulations on this great Hung Up AC! Glad you turned it loose, so it can circle around us again. Partial Eclipse comes morning, I need to check again but should start about 5 AM my time. I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.

I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
